SHMINI ATZERET – SIMCHAT TORAH

Shmini Atzeret / Simchat Torah starts Sunday night, October 16. As always, we anticipate spirited singing and dancing along with great refreshments, this time along with students from the Amudim Midrasha as well the return of tourists to Jerusalem.  

The schedule is as follows:

SUNDAY NIGHT

Candles 5:30 PM

Mincha 5:55 PM

Auction of Aliyot for Next Day 6:05 PM

Followed by Ma’ariv, Kiddush and then Hakafot & Torah Reading

Thank you once again to Naftali and Jenny Sternlicht for sponsoring and distributing the treats for our children during Simchat Torah. As in years’ past, these will be distributed to the children during a special hakafa (the 6th one) both at the nighttime and daytime tephillot.
