Its efforts are designed to foster resilience\, provide a sense of belonging\, and help families heal after experiencing profound pain and loss. Sherri is also the author of a number of books\, including the award winning The Blessing of a Broken Heart. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nMarty Pear was the father of our Rabbi\, as well as a beloved life-long Jewish Communal worker. In his last professional position\, he served as the Executive Director of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Phoenix. Since his passing\, a JCC Israel Education Program was established in his memory\, the Marty Pear Israel Fellows.
