DESCRIPTION:Shir Hadash is pleased to offer a 11 month course of study for potential converts to Judaism in conjunction with the Nativ Civilian Program\, the National Center for Identity and Conversion.  This course will meet twice weekly beginning just after Chanuka.  If interested in learning more\, e-mail shirhadash613@gmail.com. \n\n\n\nThe preparation course introduces students to a rich world of content\, including the Bible\, Jewish History\, Zionism\, Jewish Thought\, the Yearly Holiday Cycle and the Life Cycle\, as well as exposes them to Jewish values like Charity\, Kindness\, and Hospitality.  During the course\, students and their families participate in an educational tour and group Sabbath experience.  Shir Hadash will also connect the students to mentor and host families and individuals.  This course prepares students to be accepted as converts by the Conversion Courts of the State of Israel.
